In light of the current Covid-19 Pandemic Studio Enisslab headed up by Italian DJ / Producer and Live Act Neel has announced the release of a very special 56 track charity compilation project, fundraising for The Red Cross, who are working extremely hard alongside health services internationally that are feeling the effects of the corona-virus outbreak the most right now. The compilation is available for a limited time via Bandcamp and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Red Cross to help the world’s most affected countries in the Covid-19 pandemic.
This special release features over 6 hours of previously unreleased and unheard material, where an all star cast of artists were encouraged to share music that reflects this time we are living in.
Neel, who is one half of live duo Voices From The Lake, and LF58 speaks out on behalf of the initiative, organised in collaboration with improvised live project Circle Of Live, and visual art collective Sbagliato. He explains:
“In this situation we all need to look after each other and this project is a start. I wanted to reach as many people as possible to spread this message, so I started to share the idea personally with lots of artists and the response was amazing. I wanted them to take their time with whichever tools they had available at home to produce some music that reflects this time we are living in, a contribution for this special project and to portray a special message.”
The project’s cover art image brought to you by visual art collective Sbagliato shows pictures of windows of houses and studios taken by the artists themselves: 56 musicians, 56 windows, 56 tracks shape a new place of sharing.
The first release on the new Hypnotic techno label KR3 is a mini-compilation of four club bangers that symbolises the inception and evolution of a vortex – concept that is also embodied in the label’s logo. KR3 001 is a highly powerful release that seduces the listener into a labyrinth of twisted thoughts; a notion that has been widely embraced and evoked by all the artists who have contributed with their participation to the genesis of the label. Tracks by Steve Bicknell, Zadig, Giorgio Gigli & Lunatik and Iori.
Fifth 12″ on the 10 years series featuring tracks by Silent Servant, Varg, Nuel and Giorgio Gigli.
“The Right Place Where Not to Be” is the title of Giorgio Gigli’s first full-length “sonic movie”, a work emerging from the depth of his soul and which properly filters every musical input he’s developed over the years. The album takes its outset in a scenario where all human and animal life-forms have perished and only plants and minerals have survived. Giorgio performs that concept writing an ultra-detailed soundtrack to an imaginary movie, using rich textures that reveal new acoustics, enhanced by alienating atmospheres that captivate the listener. The album is focused on obsessive rhythmics cut on low frequencies, a persistent motion, and a stable tremor. The world is justifying its life-forms in detail. The sky is darkened by laden clouds and stratified sonics that electrify the sound of space. Blooming sensations that cover a wide spectrum, alternate from a feverish tension to the lightness of faith. Confines are rejected, techno meets ambient, purging our body of consciousness. A sonic bubble from a faraway era, a timeless atmosphere that describes a vision that seems to answer to the most important question: why? The task of creating an album is brilliantly managed in a manner that cinematically depicts a surreal concept without the loss tension. The experience of the music is enhanced by the intricate artwork with an evocative artwork that expresses Giorgio’s concept: The sequence of mountains dominated by clouds on a clear sky and the depths of flowers are tinged with the memory of a wonderful past.

The fifth installment of the Planet Rhythm Black series includes 3 buldging techno bits Giorgio Gigli and Ness. Leaning towards the more sinister side of techno this record contains everything from off beat rhythms to sinister early morning themes.
More driving Techno cuts from the Selected Edits project. The A-side sees Italian Techno mainstay Giorgio Gigli team up with Edit Select, while the flip side offers two massive remixes of ”Asperity” from the very first Edit Select release: First, a stone cold killer from Cassegrain, then Edit Select himself joins forces with Markus Suckut to revisit the track.
Perception Through Dissonance features a collaboration project from Giorgio Gigli and Obtane. Each production is filled with deep philosophical undertones creating a very nostalgic experience. This release also features a remix from the illusive stateside artist Rrose. This three cut journey starts with “Industrial Assaults” showcases a circadian rhythm style production reminiscent of an old John Carpenter film filled with scattered decaying elements, unearthly soundscapes and brutal baselines. Next in line is Rrose’s interpretation of “Industrial Assaults” which highlights deconstructed elements, warping aquatic molecules and erratic eccentric builds. Ending our journey is an experimental tool that embraces the feeling of solitariness in some alien landscape playing true to the name “Ambient Drama”.
The third release of Outis Music, “Sons of Poseidons EP”, it’s a collaboration between label boss Dino Sabatini and Giorgio Gigli. “Proteus” it’s a solid, dynamic and linear track, with strong harmonic resonances and a slowly growing rhythmic in a hypnotic groove of atmospheres. “Nereus’ has deeper mental space sensations in which hypnotic noise sequences travel smoothly in a crescendo of acid riffs.
Zooloft presents the second step-forward to the golden age of Tech-Noir. Zooloft 00J is a collection of remixed tracks taken from our hidden archive. Claro Intelecto, Svreca and Brando Lupi make this release unique, bringing their own personal touch to rare and obscure recordings.
Zooloft Records is approaching to the era of future tech-noir and this release is the result of an internal process of thoughts and ideas behind them. It tells the story of a sad wanderer who is trying to find the path to personal truth. Outside, a desolate scenario of modern architectures of cold glass, standing to the edge of horizon. A wonderland of mirrors and empty landscapes: the triumph of solitude.
M_Rec Ltd presents two original tracks by Giorgio Gigli and a remix from Terence Fixmer. Together, their approach creates something special and unique. In its original track Giorgio Gigli delivers the best of its hypnotic and psychedelic techno. A great atmosphere, where the ambient pads meet the dark bass sound. The side closes with an ambient session; a drone of pure electronic, dark synth, making the idea of the state of mind of his own individual unconscious. Terence Fixmer’s version is decidedly more rough, stripped of certain atmospheres, highlighting a more hypnotic and repetitive attitude.
The A side is a powerful techno machine with Zooloft’s trademark, a compound of solid and precise rhythms driven by a dangerous deep bass. It digs a mindblowing path with contribution from drones and effects. B1 is from Milton Bradley, who delivers a dark techno track in his own pure style. Sinister echoes move forward and backward into a tunnel, trying to escape from claustrophobic beats and surreal atmosphere. The EP is closed by a Zooloft remix of Milton Bradley’s track.
New EP on Zooloft coming from Obtane & Giorgio Gigli. The EP is opening with an up-building, dramatic techno anthem. On the other side, Mike Parker delivers a pulsating and acidic techno driver where heart impulses are generated by a disturbed soul, creating spasms and panic feelings. The EP get closed by a strongly romantic drone track that tells us love is still the only way-out.
Brand new Zooloft, coming from Giorgio Gigli. ‘Skulking In The Shadow’ represents an epidermal future, similar to the actual present, ruled by oldness and decadaence. A crowded future under rain and partial darkness, where just cars lights can give some brightness to the chaotic traffic, where grey skies are furrowed by flying cars. People speaks a mix of languagges: french, japanese, spanish and many others. They dress up in many different ways and this seems the only way to communicate. They move around as an unique conformed mass with interior solitude.
Zooloft’s ‘Looking Through a Mindscape’ EP is a decidedly dark new cut from Giorgio Gigli and Obtane. A little more digital than Basic Channel or Echospace, the rhythms and soundscapes are much more poly-textured, metallic and foreboding; making for a dramatic listening experience whether at home or in the club.
Deep and minimized acid techno rubs from a consortium of Giorgio Gigli, Obtane and nAX_Acid. ‘The Child That Was Watching The Moon’ perhaps warrants the acid tag more with its detuned and grumbling low end modulations occurring under streamlined layers of modern classical techno drums. ‘The Moon That Was Watching The Child’ on the flip serves a groovier function with a tech-house swing anchored by a fat bass yet still keeping focussed on pristine synths.
