In celebration of Bold Monday’s 10th anniversary, Le Cliche (Gerard Ryan residing in Barcelona) and Colophon (Bas van Vuurde hailing from Haarlem) compose six exclusive tracks. The tracks on this EP can be categorized as contemporary electronic music with a clear nod to its roots, while both artists opted for a different emphasis as well. Le Cliche composed the tracks Francophilia, Ergophobia and Chorophilia inspired by experimental postpunk and early synth pop. Colophon on the other side created Monospace and Methods of Synchronism referencing the more dance-oriented styles from 1980’s New York and Detroit, with the track 574 Mondays serving as an ambient interlude.

Abstract Theory is back with a new 12” release, from the great house producer Tevo Howard. “Passion”, is an audio depiction of the emotion, Passion, as considered from the mind of Tevo Howard who has said, ‘if Passion were a Chicago House track’. His take is also a prediction of human beings in the next 300-500 years: after the world learns to not do irrational WAR and not kill, Howard says: an era of some 300 years of compassion will begin, and will be followed by at least one thousand years of atonement in the existence of the passionate human being as an era of mankind. ‘Late Working Man’ as a B-side track is about being at the office late, and dancing very late at the disco.
An inspired collaboration from two veteran producers on top of their game – Kassem Mosse and FIT Siegel. Three well-crafted techno and house tracks created from sessions recorded at Omar-S’ FXHE Studios and FIT’s studio at Submerge in Detroit in 2016, then mixed down by Siegel in 2018 after a few years of playing rough versions in his DJ sets in clubs around the world.
