Betty Botox – The Final EP [BBFINAL001]

Sadly Betty Botox is no longer with us. She departed planet earth in 2010 and leaves a gaping hole amongst all those who knew her. She left behind a DAT tape in her studio with ‘”The Final EP” written on the cover in lipstick, which her closest confidants feel she wanted to be her last statement to the world. So, after a slight delay, two years later, 4 tracks that were regular features in her musically wayward dj sets are now available for her to fans to hear and play. Combining her love for Psyche Funk, Cosmic Synth, Space Rock and late 70s Stadium Rock these reworkings, remixes, refixes and reproductions of known and unknown tracks are sure to be hits on non-conservative dance floors everywhere.
Earl Flint – People Hold On [PANDA4Z905080]

A limited chance for you to get your hands on this achingly-rare Panda Records track ‘People Hold On’. Originally released in 1984, this stylishly classy record feels like undiluted house brought to you from before house even existed! Super-tight production skills from Wuf Ticket’s James Mason pull together a goosebump-inducing bassline, deeply hypnotic synths and tantalising handclaps topped off with Earl Flint’s elegantly sexy, meltingly cool vocals to deliver a masterpiece in early 80s NYC groove. Backed with a much in-demand killer instrumental version, this record is almost impossible to find out there on the wax market.
David Vunk – Bowie EP [MST019]

In his dark analog Moustache Records homestudio downtown Rotterdam city David Vunk made his ”Bowie ep”. This energizing ep contains 3 various styled tracks for the dancefloor. On the this side the track ”Forever Always” a stunning filter house tune with a vocal that goes on and on, a fat party break and rolling low kickdrums topped with some crazy hihat programming. On the that side two tracks. A notorious full power hi energy nu-disco/electro track filled with evil strings, catchy melody, tr-808 drums and arp odyssey baseline madness called ”Disco Sysex”. The b2 track called ”Vroezenpark” sounds like it comes straight from hell, a dusty techno track with Berlin infleunces, tr-909 drums and a Roland jupiter 8 synth. Insane and paranoia style. This very limited pressing comes with luxury gatefold fullcolour sleeve, poster and hand numbered, limited copies..

His Hard Times debut ep sold out straight away and got loads of fine feedback from the heads out there. This second ep starts with more crazy funky vocal p-funk tracks Flip side starts with the incredible track ”Hey”. One of those tracks that is able to give you goose bumps and grow on you to become one of those ”our tunes” kinda tracks you share with that special person. Bernadott – The Roof Of Love EP [GOLEM008]

Bernadott, the Roof of Love EP showcases the talent of two underground producers hailing from Paris and Stockholm, two diggers of the highest order, immersed in musique concrete, italo, free jazz, punk, chicago house and such, two DJs devoted to tension, hips and shoulders. With upcoming releases on high profile labels, The Golem proudly takes them to the forefront first, unleashing their highly original and leftfield take on the dancefloor. On Side A, Bernadott turns a white funk forgotten gem, expands it before turning it into a gherkin-esque acid burner with unexpected nods to juke, subtly returning to its post punk roots before you even notice. On side B, another post punk affair autistically turned into a dubby madchester piano choon, a quasi absurd but groovy breezy love song. And last but not least, this new episod ends with ”You Dance So Well”, a real floor filler cosmic/synth wave hyptnotic track sung in german.
Cyril – Will You Show Up / So Proud [PPU035]

Limited edition 80s funk 7inch single from the forthcoming album “Saturday Night”, the life’s work of Cyril Walker. During the making of this record Cyril passed away on December 31, 2010. He will be missed.
Cruise Family – We’re In Heaven [NNF247]

Vinyl debut by this Viennese rave abstractionist boils down pulsing LED beats and deep synth strobe FX into a cavernous laser-streaked fog. in blinding Alex Grey-style acid-body artwork by Mr. Cruise Family himself. With more ups and downs than the average quad bike race track, epic title track “We’re In Heaven” draws us into the pulsing synth-ride. Sparkling argeggios and acid blips slide over a squelchy undercarriage making for some tranced-out electro psychedelia. “Be Part Of It (Club Mix)” will appeal to lovers of the 80s EBM sound – it’s swirling nu-beat, but without a kick drum in ear shot. “Gone By Dawn” closes the EP on a tripped-out cosmic ambience.
Lakaband & Automatic Tasty – Clownfish EP [MEKA003]

Lakaband is back, this time for a symbiotic EP with Automatic Tasty. The Automatic Tasty’s anemone mix is a spirited and vigorous take on the acidulated languor of the original Clownfish, Lakaband’s smooth track, and the bouncy effervescence of the Irish mogul’s Morning Again meets the casual nonchalance of Lakaband’s track Protandry. With all tracks having been under the well advised mastering supervision of Alden Tyrell, and coming in a pretty limited number of copies, this release will be a nice addition to your collection.
Flemming Dalum – Out Of This World
Session Victim – The Haunted House of House [DOGCD002]

Juju & Jordash – Jewsex [CHANNEL027]

JuJu & Jordash return to Golf Channel with a bang. A pounding Italo / EBM influenced club epic in three distinct flavours. The ‘Clubsex’ mix traps a Pacman and has it bouncing off a wall of feedback until it locates Steve Poindexter and the Relief records back catalogue, and ‘Dubsex’ drenches everything in delay and 69’s detuned synths.

Theo Parrish’ sound is here in full widescreen with blissful production as the Detroit bass and samples create this addictive relaxed mix. John Morales is the pioneer of the remix and original producer of Jocelyn Brown, Galaxy, Five Star, Shalamar and all things disco fabulous. The previously unreleased disco dub version of ‘He’s Alright’ ends this heavyweight vinyl EP, which collects the highlights.
Elitechnique – Intrusion [CLSS009]

Elitechnique is back with Intrusion, a 8 track ep. The pair (Remco de Jong aka Phako and Florentijn Boddendijk) find an ongoing source of inspiration in disco and electronic obscurities as we’ve learned from their previous releases (which have been played and charted by all the big names in modern disco), but combine this with their fascination for the great 60’s and 70’s soundtracks! The result is a timeless imaginary sound track that adds sex and intrigue to their music and unleashed from the chains of dancefloor productions. On this Intrusion album they take freedom to play around with atmosphere intensity and tension without only focussing about a dancefloor. Both being skilled producers and musicians the result is an album extraordinaire with all instruments and music played, recorded and arranged by themselfs over a period of more then a year!
