The inspirational Rod Modell aka Deepchord follows up Sommer, his second album on Soma, with two exclusive tracks perfectly laid down in only the way he can, giving us ‘Tonality of Night’. Both tracks clock in over the 10 minute mark as Deepchord takes us on yet another journey through the unfathomable depths of his unmistakable production.

Having made a name for himself as a heavyweight dub, ambient and techno producer as Conforce, Versalife and Silent Harbour, Boris Bunnik is now branching out into label ownership with a close friend. The imprint will be called Transcendent, will be vinyl only and aims to focus on “deep and abstract mental sound excursions.” The first release is a four track EP from Hexagon, a producer who first appeared with a bonus 12″ that accompanied the release of Conforce’s Escapism album. Now stepping out on his own, the producer delves even deeper into the unknown, into a world of filmic soundscapes, evocative sonic imagery and spacious abstract worlds. Opener ‘Red Shift’ is ripe with intrigue and mystery, like the intrepid explorations of a spacecraft into the deeply unfamiliar whilst ‘Interference’ takes us into the bowls of a spaceship where robots seem to be spinning drills, computers bleep under their work load and all the while a thin and occult drone lingers in the background. ‘Fractional Wavelength’ is a nebulous world of more machine mechanics, this time glued together with a rubbery bass boom every so often, before ‘Permutation’ is the sound of an alien lab in full flow.. liquid drips, glassy tinkles and metallic sparks all send your mind into overdrive as you try to fill in a visual picture of this very real sonic world.

Giegling is back with a killer deep dusty techno release by the Prince Of Denmark Tracks that slowly rise above the layers of swampy dubby sounds and brighten up like a beautiful autumn morning. Gentle seductive sounds coming in a variation of soft colours.

The concept behind Raw Series is just a drum machine and a synth – pure analogue DJ-tools. This is thier second release.

Siberian producer Unbroken Dub makes his debut on Delsin Records. The three track Checkpoint EP kicks off with ‘I Want To Make This Louder’, a widescreen, gently undulating soundscape with scraping percussion and thick, smeared synths. Cutting through the dense dub fug are sharp edged percussive ticks, driving the track forwards gently as more and more analogue textures unfold and unfurl. ‘Det Special’ is less smooth and more choppy, rising up and down as abrasive white noise swirls add caustic surfaces to the hopping wood block hits and buried deep in the mix bassline. Again, it’s seriously analogue and as cerebral as it is physical. Closer ‘Insane’ is a much brighter cut, instead of sounding introverted and melancholic it offers some hope thanks to the buoyant hi hat ringlets, up right kick drums and glassy, tinkling echo of percussion. Contrasting heavy bass with light percussion as he does, this young producer continues to find new life in the ancient form of dub.

A strong first release from Sly Fox Records, a new label based just outside of Detroit in Ann Arbor Michigan. Dubbed out techno vibes well done by Appian & Segv.

Aubrey with the second release on Dot imprint. This time with Analog People, Little Nobody and Ozka remixes.

Neurotron presents the fourth release on their out label, featuring two pure, deep and dubby detroit underground dub house/techno cuts.

First new album from the Echospace duo since the critically acclaimed ‘Liumin’ double album on Manchester’s beloved Modern Love imprint. The sonic structure of this album was the basis for what later became ”Liumin” released on Modern Love but this exploration is something all together different, left untreated and unprocessed from its original 1/2” tape to preserve the natural organic state of the recording. The LP is a soundtrack to Silent World, an independent film produced by Rod Modell that will come out on DVD sometime after the album.

No Comment is a platform focused on sharing channeled auditive and synaesthetic/ multi sensory perceptions. The concept was conceived to help the energy levels rise towards the transcendence of spacetime, entering the multiverse. The message is in the music, this is your last call. Decode to be illuminated! Abdulla Rashim is on the remix duties on this one.

Tabernacle Records presents Anom Vitruv’s debut release, an assortment of densely layered tracks, building up to create a distinctly moody, unnerving atmosphere.

Deep spaced out techno, acid and electronix on the new sub series of M_REC LTD. Juho Kahilainen sounds like a finn, and so does the music

Parallel 9 is one of Steve Rachmad’s monikers, under which he crafts deep and slightly dubby techno. This is the first Parallel 9 release after 7 years. Three full tracks and three tools, on one fine double pack. From Music Man, with love.

A dubby offshoot of the highly collectable Rawax label called Dubwax. The first release includes four stripped-down obscure house tracks from Vualitron.

KANN returns with Prince of Denmark under his alias Traumprinz. “Paradise with a Lobotomy” expands the labels horizon towards to further individual interpretations of house and techno. For that Traumpinz brought three more than diverse tracks straight from home, to reveal a bit more of his royal universe to all the techno-paparazzis. Somewhere in between dubbed out & Disco infected House.

Number Eleven on Uncanny Valley focuses on the soundscapes of CVBox. Releasing his first solo record, he’s finally able to express his very specific idea of sound somewhere in between meditative Ambient and compelling Techno on the ‘Analog Amputations EP’. ‘Past the Eclipse’ is shaped by echoing choirs at first and mutates then into a serious Detroit Funk killer for self forgotten Techno dancefloors. ‘Counterflow’ starts to roll with menacing drones but quickly surprises with its optimistic atmosphere and an irresistibly catchy synth flute. The flipside starts off forcefully with the oldschool Techno stomper ‘Droid Swift 836’. After that ‘Orience’ floats in a sea of pads without losing the Funk of the CVBoxes.

Phat driving old schoolish analogue sounding techno tracks. Raw minimal Detroit infected Techno.
