
Long awaited new release on Echospace and the last remaining 12” from the cv313 series.

The debut release of Nijmegen’s underground techno collective ESHU on their own imprint ESHU Records. ‘Lunar Farside’ is a slow tension building space journey with off beat rhythms and some detailed sounddesign. Next up is the Lunar Farside remix. Dimi Angelis and Jeroen Search takes the original and makes it more suitable for the clubs, with a heavy throbbing bassline and some deep percussion. On the flipside we have ‘Definitely Lunar’, a 10 minute trip to the dark side of the moon.

Etui Records start their new limited vinyl series, returning to their musical roots of the late 90s. They retrace Detroit Techno and simultaneously transfer Dub Techno into an up-to-date audio frame. The first release comes from Monomood.

Very deep (which absolutely is a Silent Season trademark) yet very danceable album by Federsen, who shows us he is very capable of delivering high-quality, varied tracks that never lose the specific trademark we mentioned earlier.

Echocord Color delivers a new EP by the duo Skudge. It also includes a deep and dubby powerful remix by Conforce.

Jeroen Search and the anonymous projects Multicast Dynamics and K2VX make up for an interesting collection of deep space techno on Field Records fifth release.

Dublicator is back with his first full length album since 2008 and the brilliant ‘Chord Center’. Ilian Tape presents “Suspended In Time” by Andrés Zacco, a two tracks EP gesturing a deep techno sound with strong Detroit influences.

As a prelude to his highly anticipated Soma debut LP, Hash-Bar Loops, scheduled for release in early July 2011, here’s Amsterdam Remnants – an epic two track EP of what remains from his extended sojourn in the city. Whilst both tracks on the EP are not featured on the album itself, they retain the characteristic warmth, depth and stunning atmosphere of what lies therein.

‘Parallel Harbors’, the sixth album on Other Heights connects Coppice Halifax and Ohrwert. Coppice Halifax’s ‘Acres’, which have already been wandered on OH#Three, now return with their rough and dry subtleness, whilst Ohrwert takes his dubbed-out productions to strengthen this to a solid album.
