Intergalactic Gary & Pasiphae / SILF – DDS03 [DDS03]
Third number in the DDS split series sees Budapest duo SILF (alias Farbwechsel chief-operators Alpar & S Olbricht) and Den Haag-based pair Intergalactic Gary and Pasiphae join forces on a quartet of elusive, unpigeonholeable power moves. I-G and Pasiphae are back at it with two left-of-centre hybrids of futuristic techno on a whirring electro-industrial tip. An off-kilter jam percolating fine hints of spiritual elation and post-apocalyptic anxiety, “Microwaves” gets the ball rolling on a dichotomous note. To slo-scudding flocks of loud, bouncy kicks supersede skeins of brittle chimes and rattling drums, all woven together by subtle tectonic shifts of moody pads. A further hi-intensity affair, “Indistinct Chatter” drives that essential heavenly/nightmarish duplicity to higher spheres of consciousness. Fusing lighthearted, daydreaming tonalities with brooding, cavernous onslaughts from the depths, the track has us navigating in a zone of its own, deftly oscillating betwixt moments of mystique-imbued euphoria and darkling introspection. A choice exponent of the Hague-based dyad’s capacity at busting antiquated patterns and limitations. Having slept in the label’s vaults for a few seasons, the two tracks composing the B-side emerge from their slumber in all their time-proof bravura. An in-your-face trampler, the ten-minute long “Mono Miner” takes no byway to get its point across, all set to smash basements and warehouses by the dozen with its electrifying compound of 909-emulated gut churn and spinning synth arpeggios circling like birds of prey over your sore, rhythm-enslaved carcass. Closing the journey on a much softer, hazier vibe, “Aces” steers us towards a realm of ambient wonder, where slo-drip cascades of tapping percussions and elegiac synth waters flow into warm, glimmering summer beds. A most contrasting, tranquillising finale to an EP defined by its propensity to change colours and intensity throughout.
L/F/D/M – Mutual Autopsy [VOI022]
Following his debut contribution to the label’s catalogue this year via the Midnight Shift x Voitax ,”Mothership” compilation, (a contribution saw the artist paired with Veronica Maximova) the Brighton based producer L/F/D/M, also known as Richard Smith, is the latest to join the catalogue on Voitax. Having pushed the boundaries of his own music, Smith managed to release an impressive amount of records throughout the last years and has perpetuated his sound on cult labels such as Cititrax, Midnight Shift, Optimo Trax, Ecstatic and Clan Destine Records. The British producer now returns to Voitax with his “Mutual Autopsy” EP – a strong four-tracker that is characterised by Smith’s undenably grainy lo-fi signature. The whole package is armed with heavyweight kicks, bloating basslines and crunchy, percussive patterns, that he perfectly crowns with some memorable and catchy synth lines. The former art student, as well as one half of Bronze Teeth, shows once again his ability to modulate his way into the abstract, while keeping it groovy and warm and firmly secures himself in the ranks with the techno avant-garde.
Randstad – These Serpents [VEYL020]
Randstad is the production and DJ moniker of dutch multimedia artist Thomas van Linge, co-founder of the record labels BAKK and Rubber and freshly relocated to Berlin. Now he presents his second EP ‘These Serpents’ for Veyl. Randstad is pushing his idea across the spectrum of industrialized beat music for this outright roaring 6-tracker ideal to tear down clubs when they finally re-open in 2036.
R 325 – Mouvements [BT52]
Having garnered an online cult following, painter and producer Youl Dirlès AKA R 325 makes his record debut with Mouvements. Across 5 tracks, R 325 runs the gamut through IDM, electro and breaks, creating an insular EP full of emotive, multilayered atmospheres.
DMX Krew – Ghost Bubbles [TF004]
DMX Krew has made millions of booties move to the beat since the early nineties. His string of albums on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex spanning 1996-2005 helped define UK electro and breaks on dancefloors around the world. For almost thirty years he’s tirelessly pumped out a myriad of incredible electronic programming through many labels including his own. Terrestrial Funk humbly welcomes Ed DMX’s new album ‘Ghost Bubbles’ as the fourth release on our catalog following a string of boogie, highlife, and disco records. From Miami, Florida, to Accra, Ghana to the Gulf Of Mexico, and now to the Celtic Sea’s channels off Britain’s west coast. Ghost Bubbles is a thirteen track journey perpetuating DMX Krew’s synthesized sound waves around the globe.
Neuro-D – Audiomatik [TARE1]
The launch of TAR Electronics Series comes with the re-issue of Audiomatik. A true gem by Neuro-D, first released as an LP in 2002 on the experimental label Poeta Negra. Eleven minimalistic electro bombs, remastered and pressed on double vinyl, club ready and highly addictive. The first disc is solid silver with black labels and the second is black with silver labels, both packed in silver printed sleeves.
Aux 88 – Voice Modulation EP [PBX-31]
AUX88 brought the first of the Mad Scientist Cd Release tracks from their pivotal LP. Two classic Aux88 cuts pressed onto vinyl for the first time. AUX88 proves once again not only are they one of the best live bands in electronic music, but one of the genres funkiest groups in the world. The vocals are what set Aux88 apart from everyone else and the beat is dark, precise with thumping bass line.
Larionov & St. Theodore – Thunderstrike EP [CKNOWEP27]
Larionov & St. Theodore team up for their 3rd collaborative EP for Craigie Knowes. The next release on Phormix Tapes welcomes LBEEZE’s live lost breaks and heartbreaks EBM styled cuts. That’s the first solo release of the half Australian and half Transylvanian artist consisting of 10 tracks, 35 minutes of music. The album “Induced Expressions” is programmed to make you dance and remember the good times.

After almost three decades of music making, he delivers a 5 track-EP fusing influences from techno, electro and ’90s IDM. Four of the tracks can be found in the vinyl edition, while the 5th is a Bandcamp digital exclusive. Listen now to Geistform’s multifaceted characteristic production style: from breakbeat informed dark percussion and his unique ‘radioactive’ riffs, to his very own Detroit techno drive, dressed in rhythmic noise aesthetics. Chino – Autostrada [UV055]
The Uncanny Valley crew presents a new bright chapter of the Polish-German friendship which resulted in Chino’s Autostrada. The musician, graphic wizard and all around good guy from Krakow carved four raw and gloomy soul anthems out of his machines to create a record that features a wide range of music which is still connected by a common feeling. ‘Autostrada ‘ isn’t just a hard-rocking Electro track in its own right but also an aural reminiscence to the long but fun hours Chino spent on Autobahnen or Autostradas to drive to gigs, for instance at Uncanny Valley’s home base Dresden. With ‘Dyscyplina’, he turns to a wave/EBM approach. The result is a track that encourages anything but disciplined behaviour on the dance floor. ‘Carabo Cruise’ on the other hand is his take on Italo anthems, but with a special Chino-touch that is impossible to resist. Think of sunrises in industrial areas. Finally, we got ‘Alwernia’ which is heavily inspired by dark sci-fi movies. If Tarkowski met a bunch of 24-Hour-Party-Robots, this could be the soundtrack.

VA – Urbi Et Orbi 4 [MROME032]
The MinimalRome “Urbi et Orbi” franchise debuts in 2006, juxtaposing Rome-based producers to others around the globe (“urbi et orbi” can be translated as “to the city and to the world”) featuring — in time, amongst others — Legowelt, Rude 66, Mick Wills, Andrea Benedetti, Ra-X, Polysick, The Exaltics. This fourth chapter delivers a vinyl EP compilation with monster electro tracks by Teslasonic, Plant43, Cosmic Force and Microthol, plus a couple of synthorama joints by Heinrich Dressel and Sonobe.

The horn of plenty arrives at your door, full of freshly harvested produce. It contains fruits of artists you already know and from others waiting to be introduced to you. Don’t be afraid though – they are only your new neighbors. Clear Memory Farms recommends this five track Various Artist EP: EDM-free, sustain-able, enriched with biodynamic electro spells and mystic funk chants. Have a try at this asymmetric game but don’t be surprised to turn into a hairy rebel.
Luz1e – Cybernetic Movements EP [INTLC005]
International Chrome welcomes Luz1e to the roster with her first full release for the label, Cybernetic Movements EP. 4 unstoppable body jacking electro weapons, programmed for one mission; to save every rave from total annihilation.
Wedding Acid Group – Hazelnut Green [USR016]
Undersound introduces Wedding Acid Group (Galactic Jackson, J. Mono & Saint Leidal The 2nd) and also inaugurate a major redesign of the label. WAG are a group of three friends based in Budapest, jamming on both classic Roland gear, but also modern instruments like the Monomachine. All the tracks were recorded live around 2016 in the Ballacid studio ‘Ujpest’. The EP opens with three fast paced tracks where emotional melodies are intertwined with classic 909, 707 and 606 drums. The flipside presents the uplifting ‘Chocoball 707’ and closes with ‘Paprika Dye Acid’, the slowest jam of the EP. Overall, the tracks offer a glimpse into the emotional world of these three talented Hungarian producers and we are extremely happy to have them on board for their second vinyl release.
