Mr. Pauli & David Vunk – We Are The Laser Lords EP [MST017]

The two electro disco 80ies analog fetish freaks, Mr. Pauli and David Vunk, started a new The Hague – Rotterdam collaboration and made the tracks that they like to hear in a dj set and of course for the love of music!
Kenny Larkin – Glob Remixes [PLE65317]

“Glob” feels like something new, with jazzy, sometimes glitchy bells slowly climbing changing beats and rich bass drops. Remixes from Ben Klock, Claude von Stroke and Kenny Larkin.
Orlando B – Beneath The Surface EP [YORE003LTD]

Yore returns with the 3rd release on the Yore Limited series. Orlando B. favors the kind of funky and raw-sounding techno that flourished during the late-’90s and early-’00s and so naturally invests his maiden voyage on the Yore imprint with the same kind of classic soul that renders that earlier era’s sound so appealing.
Alton Miller – Can’t Hide It [PCDMS025]

After last year’s Alton Miller release on ProgCity Deep, we‘re now ready for the second round with another masterpiece. “Can‘t Hide It“ in its original mix shows once again the pure and raw sounds of true House music, just how it was made back in the days. And if this is not enough already we’ve got a wonderful package of remixes, with Tony Lionni, Matthias Vogt and Paskal.
Adam Marshall – ROOF.FM 025
Conforce – Black Stroke [MODELSISM024]

After his brilliant previous “CCCP EP” Conforce strikes back on Modelisme with another great release titled “Black Stroke EP”. A side “Black Stroke” original is an hymnic detroitish tune, the swingy groove and the right strings, provided from an high sensitivity. Guests on this ep, the excellent Kink & Neville Watson worked out an old school acid house remix with a typical chicago vein as they do know to do. To complete “Pretty far from here” is a superb old school house track, subtle deep funky sounds on raw beats with a sensual mood.
Omar S – Ultra Fine [AOS432A]
Quince & Benny Rodrigues – Novum [SMALLVILLE19]

Amsterdam’s duo Quince and Benny Rodrigues evolve an outstanding synthesis of a classic Detroit Techno Vibe and newest sound technology. With a bass blowing beast turning into deep space the A Side is created for dancefloor’s magic at its best. Based on strings, chords and 303 Sweet Potatoes on the B Side is a deeply kicking Detroit Electro tune.
Echologist – Slow Burn [SFV06]

Echologist presents his second release on Steadfast Records. The original mix of is a lush slice of ambient techno that immediately sucks you into its subby atmospheric realm and gently lulls you into a netherworld where chords and pads playfully bounceoff one another. The b-side features a steller remix from London’s rising techno/dubstep talent Sigha.

Raeyk – Bridges [VARIANZ07]

New release from Berlin based techno label Varianz. Raeyk ,the initiator and head of the label, present his third EP on Varianz.
Raiz – Raiz [H&V004]

Sexy and utterly deadly techno from Vangelis and Vidal Vargas aka Raíz, backed with a serious edit from label head Silent Servant aka John Mendez. The duo’s original mix is a stealthy Latin shuffler offsetting slinky 909 percussion with a bumbum bass slide that makes our pasty asses want to dance. On the flip Silent Servant reinforces the Latin kink with a bronzed bass pound but still manages keeps the subtle shuffle intact.

silent servant / raiz – Raiz (Silent Servant)
Sexy and utterly deadly techno from Vangelis and Vidal Vargas aka Raíz, backed with a serious edit from label head Silent Servant aka John Mendez. The duo’s original mix is a stealthy Latin shuffler offsetting slinky 909 percussion with a bumbum bass slide that makes our pasty asses want to dance. The Third Man – Messier 66 [ART-DDS02]

Toby Leeming aka The Third Man has built a solid reputation that’s set to get a boost with his first high profile release dropping on ART’s Dance Division series. ‘Messier 66’ sticks to a tried and tested formula of Basic Channel chord delays and kicking, UR-inspired 909s, but delivers it with such a deadly conviction and electrifying execution that no dancefloor is safe in its presence.
Matthias Reiling – Das Gespenst Von Altona [GLGLP01]

The first LP on Giegling is the debut album for Matthias Reiling (1/2 of Session Victim), called “Das Gespenst von Altona” (The ghost of Altona) – Altona is a district of Hamburg. Going from house to hip/triphop, this guy shows that he’s got the funk – and lots of groove to share.
Wax – 30003 [WAX30003]
Sbtrkt – 2020 [MATH07]

Brainmath cut a layer deeper with a properly good looking double pack from SBTRKT. Landing just ahead of his Grizzly hookup with Sinden, these four tracks feature the masked one exercising his moodier house and garage inclinations. ‘2020’ shuts the airlock and pressurizes yer headspace with sweeping jazzy chords and a streamlined broken house swing finished with that special SBTRKT lacquer.

sbtrkt – 2020
Brainmath cut a layer deeper with a properly good looking double pack from SBTRKT. Landing just ahead of his Grizzly hookup with Sinden, these four tracks feature the masked one exercising his moodier house and garage inclinations. ‘2020’ shuts the airlock and pressurises yer headspace with sweeping jazzy chords and a streamlined broken house swing finished with that special SBTRKT lacquer. ‘Jamlock’ follows with heavily filtered tech-house with a mongrel blooded flux of UK garage infected swing and Berlin style reserve, keeping the funk tucked tight in the pocket. Meanwhile the deep house mystery of ‘One Week Over’ opens up to reveal a blend of Actress-alike swampy compressions and semi-lucid melodies and finally ‘Pause For Thought’ applies lolling chord sequences to brittle 2-step rhythm and trickling UR style jazz techno keys. The execution is second to none, maybe a little too plastic or digitised for some but made to sound ultra-fresh and oh-so-clean for everyone else. Killah!
