New release from Matt O’Brien on his own Off-key Industries. ‘Bloom’ lays it smooth and stealthy, riding fat, subs-driven rhythm daubed with fluttering Teutonic synth into a subtly show-stealing breakdown and back to business. On the flip side, ‘Without Warning’ has body-slydin’, mentasm style synth licks and droning pads.

Fourth Wave returns for it’s second poem from the dark abyss of change, this time from the mysterious 18 year old Gerry Read. Multi instrumentalist Gerry chops through layers and layers of samples with his own playing to create landscapes of rolling deep Detroit flecked house music.

DJ 3000’s “Hotel Oasiz” is part of the new sound of Motech Records. Not that Motech ever predicated itself on an established sound in the first place, but DJ 3000 (Franki Juncaj) has expanded not only the range of his own style, but also the styles of those he chooses to appear on his remix EPs.
