Jackmaster – Tweak-A-Holic Mix #1
VA – Environmental Radiatin Dose On The Moon [ZA000LTD]

Deep and minimized acid techno rubs from a consortium of Giorgio Gigli, Obtane and nAX_Acid. ‘The Child That Was Watching The Moon’ perhaps warrants the acid tag more with its detuned and grumbling low end modulations occurring under streamlined layers of modern classical techno drums. ‘The Moon That Was Watching The Child’ on the flip serves a groovier function with a tech-house swing anchored by a fat bass yet still keeping focussed on pristine synths.
SP-X – Signal Path Experiments EP [KOMISH05]

Komisch is honoured to release the debut EP by SP-X. Combining lean, snappy percussion with evil bass sounds, SP-X also brings slamming, skipping beats and insane filtering to each track. The ominous chords of ‘SP-14’ is the track that has received the most DJ support, but both ‘SP-17’ and ‘SP-10’ are functional but distinctive club tracks whose panning riffs and hissing percussion will destroy any club.
Rau – The Blessing [STAUB02]

Stripped down basement techno tracks on the Giegling sub label Staub. Two tracks with a touch of that post basic channel sound with a gentle steady groove.
Urban Tribe – Program 1 – 12 [MM025LP]

Not much really needs to be said about a new release on Mahogani Music, especially since it involves contributions from some of Detroit’s greats, including Kenny Dixon Jr, Anthony Shakir, Carl Craig, and last but not least, the main man Sherard Ingram aka DJ Stingray. It’s a single LP which contains twelve tracks – a couple of shorter skits, but most pretty much full tracks. Now maybe time to state the obvious… this won’t hang around long!
ItaloJohnson – ItaloJohnson 2 [ITJ002]
Leonid – J3 EP [SIS013]

Sistrum announces the return of Ireland’s Leonid, who offers a proper follow up to his highly regarded debut Sistrum EP, Sadim (SIS-009). The J3 EP pushes further down into the depths and brings forth timeless vibes for those who seek to shed the excess and get to the heart of the matter. And this matter is the groove – the kind of simple, effective groove that you can get lost in, the kind of groove that you can listen to forever and it just seems to get better the longer you listen to it.
Gegenheimer – The Inner Path Stories EP [RT01]

Two tracks of pure deepness and emotions have been delivered by Marco Gegenheimer, from Barcelona, on Ratio?music. ’21:4 (The IPS Prayer)’ is all about losing that one love and is a sentimental piece of house music, while ‘Mystical Crossings’ on the flip is all about the mystical and divine aspects of life.

Ed Davenport – Verdantin [FALK02]

Verdantin is an epic 13 minutes long burner. Moody synths, haunting vocals, and a sub-sonic kick drive the slowly evolving structure forward. However… b-side track Siebzehn is at least as good with its lush dubby chords and its echo-ing vocals layer over a classic house groove.
Kassem Mosse – We Speak To Those / High-Res [NONPLUS008]

Surprising dark & druggy deephouse/dubstep crossover from the german deep house producer, Kassem Mosse.
Âme – Rrose Sélavy EP [IV028]

After exploring technoid territories with in the last years Ame are back with a full-on deep house EP. It is very much infiltrated with a Marcel Duchampesque way of approaching artistic objects: ready-made, self-referencing and perpetuating. So musically, Perpetuum Mobile (ital. Moto Perpetuaby Niccolò Paganini) elements push forward into mesmerizing loops. There future is nearer than in most of contemporary deephouse releases.
Sven Weisemann – Desolation Mix July 2010
MRSK – Black Keith / Close To Me [RH030]

‘Black Keith’ definitely has that drive and swing and groove we love so much. ‘Close To Me’ is a little deeper and more classy (Detroit), yet still grooves like a motherlicker.
VA – Semesters 2 [SMR009]

Number 2 in the Strength Music Semester series. More quality Deep House from Jus-Ed, Fred P & DJ QU. Some really nice production that is crisp n tight. Lots of melodic bits to take you away and punchy beats too.
Dexter – Junofest [RHVD01]

Rush Hour presents a new series of releases entitled ‘Voyage Direct’. This series is about all about feel good club music and is curated by Tom Trago. Hence the name Voyage Direct, which was also the title of his debut double EP. Dexter kicks off this series in a classy style with his Junofest EP.
Basic Soul Unit – Night Heat [MULE071]

Title track of ‘Night Heat’ on a side is a melodic and playful detroitish house track. On the b side, we invited our favorite underground house producer Fred P aka Black Jazz Consortium to the remixer. He almost cuted off the melody and made more dj tool version, it fits perfectly for dark club.
