Dekmantel Selectors is an intimate festival, limited to a capacity of 2000, to keep the vibe pure throughout the whole week and this can be seen once you get to the bay from The Garden, next to the small fishing village of Tisno.
Musical Tasting #12: Kenya & Etiopia @ Flow Coffee Roasters (Sibiu) 02.08.2019
Musical Tasting is a series of events, a collaboration between Asociatia My Transylvania and The Hipodrome Of Music, aiming to promote countries, regions and their musical genres, combining auditions with traditional recipes from the area, cooked with as many local and seasonal ingredients. We will have musical and culinary trips in Turkey, South Africa, Italy, Japan, Middle East, Greece, India, The Caribbean, Yugoslavia, England, Guinea or Romania.
Hipodrome is a blog born in 2009 in the Hipodrom neighborhood of Sibiu, its aim being to promote a music that is less known to the wide public. Hipodrome is a mixture of electronic music, new wave, jazz or disco from different places of the world.
#12 Musical Tasting – Kenya and Ethiopia:
We will listen to music from Kenya and Ethiopia and we will taste some coffee based dishes and coffee based alcoholic cocktails.

DT CAMP 2019
If you ask me, DT Camp is by far the best electronic music festival in Europe. The remote location is very beautiful, on the banks of an emerald-green lake, surrounded by the wild forests of Lithuania. The crowd is equally mixed with local and people coming from all corners of Europe, all in search for the same thing. A serious rave! The vibe there is unbelievable. Everybody is on the same page, thee is a great sense of unity and freedom. And on top of this, if the weather is nice you can bathe into the warm waters of the lake.

Launmomentdat in parc 2019
Launmomentdat in parc is a multicultural experience in the form of concerts, shows, exhibitions and film screenings that will take place between 7-9 June 2019 in the People’s Park in Timișoara. The festival includes a musical program on three stages, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, theater performances, sports and dance activities.
This year the festival is part of the Saison France-Roumanie 2019, so there are many French artists, like the electro-house veteran Cosmo Vitelli, Zaltan from Antinote and his partner Raphael Top-Secret or the electronic maverick Djedjotronic, who provided one of the best album of 2018. Besides them, is also the Swiss DJ Sassy J, who is doing her Patchwork nights for 10 years now.
These kind of artists are not very often seen in line-ups at Romanian festivals and I’m very happy to see this in Timișoara.
Timișoara will be the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2021, so they are supporting these kind of events … and bwt the entry is free 🙂

For this dinner we will have a special guest, Lydia Green, one of the chefs of Fischer’s at Baslow Hall (1* Michelin).

After a very successful premiere at Drugstore a superbond was made with the Italian-born selector Elena Colombi. For the first night of her residency, Elena Colombi kicks things off with a visage familier: Intestellar Funk. Since a very memorable back to back set at Amsterdam’s De School the pair has shared the decks again at Left Alone party in London and at Dekmantel Sao Paulo, leaving a mark with each and every set.
