Alex Danilov, DJ and producer from Yekaterinburg, with a release on Arma. Published along with ‘reshape’ by Fred P., three original tracks constitute the Noises EP. His own productions are about finding the way to sustain deep mystic atmosphere within signature low-pass rhythm picture. Side B, containing both original and remix of ‘Unknown Numbers’, shows how this approach varies from classy style of Fred P. aka Black Jazz Consortium. Noises EP is the 12th release by Arma.

Cin Cin is back for round two, this time calling up Michigan superstar Todd Osborn who delivers a 1,2 knockout punch with heavyweight acid killers We Gonna Jak’ and On the T’. On the flip Londoner Laurence Guy gives us an anglo saxon take on that heady deepdiscohouse sound thats guaranteed to warm the body and soothe the mind in these last dark days of winter.

Derek Carr – Knoe 5/1 [KNOE5/1]
Derek Carr is a name known by few and far between, with only a handful of vinyl releases in the early 2000s, he built a worthy but unfortunately not widely-spread reputation for putting together stunning deep techno. Originally pressed in finite numbers, the records have recently found themselves in demand on Discogs, and rightly so, Derek’s music is in a class of its own. Having been a big fan since his releases on then local (to label owner Ben) Leeds label Geek Records, For Those That Knoe has dug deep into the archives to put together a sizeable selection of Derek’s back catalogue, with some unreleased gems dotted amongst the classic must-haves.
Janeret – Midnight Soul [FS032]
Finale Sessions is excited to have another Parisian on our superb roster and Janeret is not one to sleep on that’s for sure . So we are getting right to the music with the first track “Midnight Soul” One of my favorites for sure with its beautiful keys and its rich pads and it’s enormous bass this track is a latenight beater for sure. Track two”Contrast”is more on the techier side of things with more pads and a think basline no question a floor pumper it also has really nice drums to flavor that nice vocal. Track three ” Subdub ” This track is more for the dub Techno crowd for sure with its super deep chords and its deep sub ambiance sound Track four ” Ehtereal ” Electro Madness is I am going to say.
