Mystic Bill’s deep house favourite ‘U Won’t C Me’ receives a remix from German electronic innovator Stefan Braatz on Nu Groove. Originally released on the legendary Strictly Rhythm and acquired by Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company in 2015, this seminal deep house record remains a firm favourite of house heads in the know and is a shining example of the genre. This five-track Nu Groove outing features the original ‘U Won’t C Me’ alongside Jake’s Savage Acid Re-Dub from the mind of NYC’s Jake Reif, as well as the original B-Side ‘Like A Dream In The Night’. Joining these seminal tracks is the new Panic Remix from Stefan Braatz, incorporating his reverence for the deep house genre into a striking club-ready remix that ups the tempo and bewilders with thoughtful synthwork at every turn, as well as the headsy and hypnotic Panic Dub built for the backroom.

Step into the realm of legends with the extraordinary “This Thing EP” by Lukas Lyrestam & Simoncino featuring the iconic Robert Owens and remixes by legendary Mr. Fingers and Chez Damier. A convergence of past and future legends, this EP is a testament to the timeless magic of house music. Lukas Lyrestam & Simoncino’s original creation, “This Thing,” featuring the soulful vocals of Robert Owens, sets the stage for a sonic journey. Mr Fingers and Chez Damier, two of the most revered names in the game, lend their remixing prowess to elevate “This Thing” to new heights. The result is an EP that captures the essence of both classic and contemporary sounds, a true testament to the enduring legacy of these musical giants.

Immerse yourself in an electrifying fusion of analog textures and experimental soundscapes. This record is a bold, underground exploration where Electro, Techno, and Experimental collide in an uplifting yet distorted sonic journey. Crafted with an unwavering commitment to authenticity, the tracks embody the raw, unpolished energy of analog gear, delivering a gritty, dynamic experience. The artists—Filmmaker, Hanniball III, DJ Nephil, Mule Driver, Porosty, and DJ Sigils—bring their uncompromising vision to the forefront, creating a soundscape that rejects mainstream conventions. This record isn’t shaped by market trends or hype; it’s a pure expression of underground artistry, designed to break boundaries and let creativity flow untethered. With each track, the listener is invited into a world where the unexpected thrives, and where the only rule is to push the limits of sound.

FRAK was the first act out on the Kontra-Musik White Label series. Back in 2012 the EP Triffid Gossip marked the return of both the band FRAK and the label Börft. Now, 12 years later, FRAK returns to KMWL with the splendid and diverse Safari Modules EP.

Electro bass cyperpunks from down under, Assembler Code & Jensen Interceptor, team up again for ”NRG LVLS” on TRUST. Four heavy-duty tracks might overclock neural interfaces with drilling synths, twitchy funk and high-pressure electro rhythms.

Beautiful split release from MmWave and Sound Synthesis feat. 3 tracks on each side of fine acidic electro and breakbeat infused elctronix sounds.

Ozone Recordings presents anoher release from Cliff Dalton aka Sander Ever and he serves up yet another celebration of old school electro sound.

3 classic Legowelt “Slam Jack Deep Chicago Ghetto Technofunk” tracks from the Clone Records vaults get the deserved remaster treatment. The early 2000’s Yamaha DX Synth tribute by Scheveningens Jackmaster never sounded better…

Minimal wave legend Das Ding is back on Electronic Emergencies after 10 years with a stunning selection of archival tracks from retrieved tape recordings. In the early eighties, Danny Bosten got together with his friends after school in his bedroom studio, somewhere in the bleak Dutch countryside. They experimented with cheap analogue gear and made music to kill time. The sound is raunchy and slightly experimental, but already unmistakable Das Ding. New wave, early EBM and proto techno are found this album, pressed on clear vinyl. To preserve the original atmosphere and sound, the tapes received the Ruud Lekx treatment.

Throughout the 1980s, Michael Antener, born and raised in Bern, Switzerland, initiated an array of sonic endeavours in the realm of industrial, dark, aggressive music. The triple vinyl release is all about documenting Michael Antener’s adventures during that intense 1980s period, comprising materials from vinyl records, cassettes, and live recordings, some of it unreleased. The release also includes a deep dive into Michael’s visual archive of posters, photos, and sleeve artworks. The disjointed, tumultuous body of work presented here marks the testament of a fringe musician who was disruptive and confrontational, keen to shock and alarm people (much to our liking), and who could easily have been lost in oblivion.

Shades Of Blur is a newly unveiled secret label by one of the most esteemed artists in the scene offers a unique blend of New Wave and Post-Punk flavors on its inaugural record.

Cybernetic disco maestro Patrick Cowley returns to Dark Entries with ‘From Behind’, a collection of grooving and ecstatic covers of 60s garage and soul cuts. Best known for his chart-topping disco anthems, Cowley left us with an incredible body of work before his tragic death in 1982 due to AIDS-related illness. Since 2009, Dark Entries has been working with Cowley’s friends and family to uncover the singular artist’s lesser-known sides, including his soundtracks for films on compilation albums School Daze, Muscle Up, and Afternooners. From Behind reveals yet another facet of Cowley’s myriad influences; garage and soul. As a tripped-out teenage music freak who arrived in 60’s San Francisco, it should come as no surprise that these psychedelic sounds, both heady and visceral, infuse Cowley’s oeuvre. Recorded during Cowley’s most productive period, ‘80-’82, these tracks show the master flexing his virtuosity while paying loving tribute to the songs that shaped him. A rough draft of Loverde’s “Iko Iko” contorts the jaunty Dixie Cups classic into a slithering, monstrous bathhouse groover, the song’s signature claps draped in cavernous reverb. An unexpected hi-NRG cover of The Doors’ “20th Century Fox” has Paul Parker on vocals, ironically twisting the original’s overt heterosexuality. Via Cowley’s vocoder, The Who’s “Shakin’ All Over” is transformed into a haunting meditation on the loss of bodily autonomy that AIDS inflicts, while the Moody Blues’ “Ride My See Saw” appears in instrumental, amped up and synthesized for dancefloor impact. We’re also graced with instrumental demo versions of The Seeds’ “Pushin’ Too Hard” and The Electric Prunes’ “Too Much To Dream (Last Night),” which later appeared on Paul Parker releases. Things close out with a swinging version of the Four Tops’ Motown classic “Baby I Need Your Loving”, Cowley later reimagined for R&B artist Carl Carlton.

Daniel Monaco returns on the Rush Hour Store Jams imprint with another disco heavy two tracker, with vocals from TK daMonza.

Remastered reissue of the second landmark EP for Plus 8 Records by Speedy J. Again expanding on the emerging sounds of Techno Speedy J took it further into euphoric, minimal lofi and bleepy territory with ”Rise”, ”Tresor” and ”De-orbit”. All while effectively stripping it down to the bare bones rocking only a 909 and a vocal sample on ”Something For Your Mind”. This release and in particular ”Something For Your Mind” was there at the forefront of techno as we know it these days with a harder, raw and no-nonsense approach and all its variations such as Gabber that grew out of that in Rotterdam the following year.

Remastered reissue of this seminal EP by Speedy J originally released on Detroit’s Plus 8 records. Taking his inspiration from the early Detroit and Chicago imports that landed on the Dutch coast in the late 80’s Speedy J ended up creating a classic that innovated and embodied the raw energy of the then still emerging sound of Techno.

Munich’s techno powerhouse Ilian Tape is back with a new EP which, as usual, features a quarter of direct and unmistakably functional tracks but the designs are top-notch. Fireground – a male/female duo – first offer us the big, bouncy, percussive banger ‘Glare’, before ‘Stand’ keeps it just as tribal and percussive and straight up. ‘Spin’ brings a little playfulness with some sleek machine soul sounds adding warmth and a bit of Detroit colour to the clattering drums before ‘Red Night’ shuts down with jazzy blend of smeared Rhodes chords and yet more bold drums and hits.

Ukrainian producer Yan Cook hits hard with a third follow up EP on Delsin’s Inertia series. Once again a lethal pack of four to the floor techno weapons.
