Ryo Murakami lunches a new label Panrecords. The first release is a 4 track EP, with very deep and slow beats, dub track from start to end. The EP contains a remix from Stereociti, which has also a deeply atmosphere.

The first in a three-part series of limited 10”s rewiring Swedish experimental dub/drone artist Mokira, aka Andreas Tilliander. ‘Time Track’ is the deepest of dub music and electronic gear has seldom sounded this organic. Rolling cords and bassline builds slowly towards the dub meltdown. On the b-side Silent Servant produces a rolling wall of sound. This is a high energy, metallic sounding dance piece ready to serve djs around the globe. To be played loud, not silent.

If you don’t know it already, it’s the time of faceless artists and labels. In a time when traditional record shops are dying every day and the vinyl seems to be seriously overtaken by the digital media, faceless labels and artist are starting to flourish. An other example, in this direction, is the new mysterious label Stablo, which have just release they first EP with some underground sounds from an unknown artist. The EP, called No. 9999, includes two untitled tracks with a unique dubby house style, ready to hypnotize the listener or the dancer. This release has every single copy hand-stamped and individually numbered and you can find it in very limited numbers.

Brand new Zooloft, coming from Giorgio Gigli. ‘Skulking In The Shadow’ represents an epidermal future, similar to the actual present, ruled by oldness and decadaence. A crowded future under rain and partial darkness, where just cars lights can give some brightness to the chaotic traffic, where grey skies are furrowed by flying cars. People speaks a mix of languagges: french, japanese, spanish and many others. They dress up in many different ways and this seems the only way to communicate. They move around as an unique conformed mass with interior solitude.

Sven Weisemann, Specter, Duijn & Douglas, and Water Field, hail from Berlin, Chicago, Amsterdam and Sapporo, respectively and they deliver some delicate techno.

Dario’s debut on his own imprint is another example for his unique and mature sound. “10 AM” sounds like an earthquake, raw and dirty, it builds up so much energy that even Babensham starts to shake. “Farrel” on the other side is best described as deep break beat techno.
