Ibex – Jericho [IBEX003]

Ibex aka Tony Olliviera with a versatile selection of 4 tracks that build further on the well known roots of Detroit techno, showing what’s best about Detroit verging on an acid-funk hybrid, with hints of disco, & lots of outer space.
Hieroglyphic Being – Primitif Nous Sommes [MFMCD012]

Aboriginal, new-age inspired rhythmic jams from Jamal Moss. Quite abstract in parts, but right on the ball with fresh rhythms and influences.
Solvent – Latch, Fasten, Secure [MRX019]

”Latch, Fasten, Secure” is a new 3-track 12” by Solvent, for MinimalRome. Solvent debuts here a new approach, delivering 3 tracks of pure Bunker/Rephlex-style acid, monotonous and pounding. ”Fasten” is the most straight-up acid track present, nothing but 707/606 percussion + x0xb0x squelch. ”Latch” and ”Secure” are more dark, abstract, dirty. ”Secure” is epic madness, clocking in at over 16 minutes; at times slow and prodding, elsewhere growling furiously in sheets of distortion.
Frank Martiniq – Golden Dusk (Scott Grooves Remixes)[METISSE04.5]

Two different Panther Versions by Scott Grooves & Kataconda for Frank Martiniq’s “Golden Dusk”.

Morning Factory – Fantasy Check [ROYAL009]

Debut release on Clone Royal Oak by Morning Factory. Two tracks that go somewhere between the old and the new school with phat bass lines, filtered stabs, blissful keys and joyful piano and a cheeky vocal on the b-side cut. All that combined with slightly slower pace, powerful production.
Midnight Hours – Midnight Hours 3 [MH003]
SCB – XLR8R Podcast 193
Wax – NO.40004 [WAX40004]

New release on Shed’s Berlin matrix! A-side whips dancers into shape with proper early ’90s Detroit styles, all cracking hanclaps, fizzing hi-hats and a Reese style sub for your behind. B-side is a bit more pumping and dubby, with deftly diffused dub chords and hydraulickin’ bass pressure.
Scan 7/$tinkworx – Coexist [FREQ013]

A-side is a great track by Scan 7, previously released in 1993 on the ”Magic Tracks Compilation” CD only. This is your chance to finally have it on vinyl! The B-side is a techno track in the well known Stinkworx style, and quality.
