JG Outsider is returning to Oráculo Records to once again deliver his unique blend of twisted modern EBM, advanced industrial, and power electronics. This time, he’s joined by Nightcrawler and Spammerheads with two dancefloor-filling remixes. Tracks are taken from JG Outsider’s album “Despierto” released last year by Cold Transmission Music.
After a long period of inactivity, during which he recharged his batteries for his return to music production, JG Outsider took up the challenge of recording his first solo album in this new phase of his musical career. EBM, industrial sounds, post-punk songs with his own vocals and high-level collaborations make up this work. It is undoubtedly a musically mature album that shows the identity of this chameleon-like artist with a career spanning more than 30 years. The album also includes great remixes by Nightcrawler Music and Spammerheads as well as a collaboration with Ruth García/From Hell.
After passing through Ombra Festival (2022), the legendary 80’s band, Days of Sorrow, reemerged from its slumber to once again be at the head of the synth wave artists of the moment. It is for this reason and for its legendary legacy that Banshees Records has decided to give another twist to the songs of the German group with this double vinyl of remixes featuring internationally artists such as Alpha Sect, Black Merlin, Carlos GrabStein, Chris Shape, David Carretta, Israel Padilla, JG Outsider, Love The Machine, Parissior, Skelesys, Spammerheads and Synths Versus Me. “Days of Sorrow, The Remixes” is a double LP where the German band’s own sound is reinterpreted, giving it a more electronic touch, focused largely on the dance floor.
The annual unusual sounds gathering in Barcelona is here again. The 2023 edition of the OMBRA Festival is a special one, celebrating the 5th anniversary. The festival is returning it’s former industrial aesthetics, after one year of transition from the former space Utopia 126, the industrial area in El Poublenou. This year the festival will happen in a new and captivating venue that perfectly embodies OMBRA’s essence of industrial aesthetics, the former Mercedes-Benz factory, ENMASA.
“Amor Industrial” originally written by Aviador Dro. Mastered by Daniel Hallhuber at Young and Cold Studios (Germany). All tracks previously released by Banshees Records.
