Peter Van Hoesen & Donato Dozzy – Talis / Into The Red [CURLE024]

After Thomas Brinkmann’s first new EP since long, it’s now time for the second Curle offering of 2010. Donato Dozzy has been a long time favorite of us, with his unique hypnotic sound, that you can hear on his releases for labels such as Orange Groove, Elettronica Romana and Aquaplano. In our humble opinion he’s one of the best Italian techno artists around. Peter Van Hoesen on the other hand has been a long time friend of us, being also from Brussels, the home of Curle. He is one of the artists that will certainly have his big breakthrough during 2010, with the upcoming release of his debut album.
San Soda & Just Nathan – Lany 3 [Lany003-6]

On this untitled ep San Soda teams up with his friend Just Nathan. Just Nathan is another experienced belgian DJ who has something to offer to the world, adding further proof to the fact that Belgium has more skills than making waffles and harassing children. Tracks in between house and techno that will definately shake up any crowd!
Conforce – Machine Conspiracy [MEAN020CD]

Conforce, aka Dutch techno producer Boris Bunnik, will release his debut album next month on Meanwhile. Entitled Machine Conspiracy, the album continues in the same vein as Conforce’s recent releases on Meanwhile and Modelisme, focusing on a bright and buoyant dub techno vibe. The album was recorded mostly in his bedroom in Leeuwarden, with two tracks originating on the Island of Terschelling, an isolated Dutch isle where Bunnik grew up, which is pictured on the album’s cover. Aside from “Love-Hate” and “Stop Hold,” which appeared on last month’s Love & Hate EP, all the tracks on Machine Conspiracy are previously unreleased.

Leon Segka – Kude [NTROP017]

With his new single Kude Leon Segka emerge a cut of detroit dub and electro. An outgoing kick and bass driving his dark atackless pads while spooky whispers are crawling in beetween. At the b side Bodycode from Spectral clearly reinstall Kude to his future retro style.

SCB – SCB001 [SCB001]

The remix series from Scuba’s album ‘A Mutual Antipathy’ first saw the alias SCB, as well as the well received mix on mnml ssgs, Scuba delivers the first SCB release on the same titled label. Fusing his very atmospheric and delicate brewing sound with his previously half-established four over four tradition (that got high recognition with the excellent ‘Houndreds & Thousands’ on Hotflush a year back).
Tom Dicicco – Material Things [BAUD02]

The second release of the label Baud from Tom Dicicco, who lives in Manchester, brings us the two tracks “Material Things” and “Empire”, concluded by a remix of “Material Things” by Patrick Graeser.
STL – Things From the Basement [SOMETHING011]

Great old schoolish tracks that reminds of early Roy Davis basement trax. Probably one of our favorite releases of STL (and he already did several which we loved to death). Ruff house music without any frills!
CRC vs. Myon – Mass Defect EP [HEM02]

Heliocentric Music’s second release “Mass Defect E.P.” features a tremendous new track by CRC aka Michael Diekmann from Finland as well as a new dancefloor-oriented production by Myon. It is the second record in a series of releases, which deal with topics of physics and astronomics in terms of track- and/or record titles.
Mike Dehnert – Dico EP [FW012]

Mike Dehnert delivers with this 12 on his own Fachwerk label. After the stir of his limited MD2 release another piece of black wax with some heavy deep bass driven techno tools. 3 powerfull overwhelming tracks that are still subtile and classy. 3 tracks that slowly push the bounderies of techno rooted in the Berlin traditions mixed with some Detroit flavor. Especially the b track is a true killer with 90’s style open off beat 909 hi-hats and great tension.
