MOS Deep returns with a new EP from Italians Ksoul & Muteoscillator. ‘Criminology’ comes in two parts on the a-side: the first is a fizzing, almost impenetrable network of analogue lines with acid buried deep below sharp percussion and behind a mysterious little melody phrase, whilst the second features a different sort of acid: it’s brighter and seems to twist and turn with a life of its own. The b-side is ‘Aphrology’ as edited by Aroy himself. The underlying vibe here is house, though a squealing world of ticking machines, squirming synths and jangling percussive rhythms make it a heady and intense listen. Finally, the same track appears in its original form where tumbling drums, bleeding acid and a steppers rhythm join the dots between many different worlds: the heady results are sure to make dancefloors go cerrrrazy.

A raw, unrehearsed and uncompromising jam captured on tape and released unedited to maintain the unfettered energy. Clocking in at just shy of fifteen minutes, this full assault of sound aimed squarely at the dancefloor, was directly inspired by a visit to perform at the club of the same name in Zagreb, Croatia.

Next amazing Snuff Trax bu Perseus Traxx and a remix by Snuffo & Alienata. Mixup between finest Chicago and Detroit back in the day sound. Trax with the taste of good old times. The past is now, the present is now, the future is now.

Lux Rec reaches number 10 in their catalogue, and for this occasion they come out with a special release. In January 2012 CCO played a stunning and completely live & analog set at Zukunft, one of the best clubs in Zurich. Lux Rec asked him to reenact the set and record it once again, live. The result is a 1 hour long electronic music suite, filled with 808 and 707 beats, 303 acid lines and spatial sounds. They decided to press 2 excerpts, Pt. 1 is 12 minutes long while Pt. 2 is 25 minutes long, and release them on vinyl as Music For Cosmonauts. It was magic to see CCO at work, as no computer was used in the process every pattern specs had to be written down on paper, and machines programmed on the run.Music for Cosmonauts is music to look at the world from outer space.

808, 303, 707 & Paris Brightledge on vox, uncompromising acidic bass music. B-side is taken from Paranoid London’s first live set at Warehouse Project, Manchester 2008. Totally improvised, totally live, by the seat of our pants. Acid house with one of the true House greats on vocals.

Snuff Trax 007 brings four special trips. Created by two great artists from England and Germany. Jackee is a project of Paul Mitchell, who you also might know as Meschi. For his debut on Snuff Trax he drops two hot acid cuts. ‘A Tribute’ is an anthem with its huge acidline and its incredible melody. ‘Seeking Space’ makes you fly endlessly through the cosmos, an emotional and deep piece of music, created for the very special moments. The second artist on the release is Elec Pt.1 aka Andreas Gehm, with two new mesmerizing tracks that do not need a 303 to work like acid. ‘Galactic Journey’ and ‘Jack Xpress’ will fascinate you with their magic melodies and grooves.

From North Yorkshire, England, more classic ’88 UK dark acid house from Mantra, a full-length lp on white vinyl.

Alden Tyrell hooked up with Mike Dunn for some new work!. Tyrell always jamming and playing around with his synths had some tracks inspired by early Mike Dunn songs. So the obvious happened… the hooked up for some appropiate vocals and here it is….”Touch The Sky”! A peak time acid monster with Mike’s vocal chant in the style of his classic MD3 projects. Gerd is on remix duty here and delivers a killer remix with a more traditional Chicago groove and build up. Clone head honcho Serge had some studio time with Tyrell for a dub mix. The Serge & Tyrell dub mix turned out a bit wild and became a classic piece of piano and dx bass driven Chicago house music with stuttering vocal samples and a acidic synth line.

First part of a series aiming to bridge the gap between French underground culture and the relevant contemporary dancefloors, featuring hot tracks by Jared Wilson, Dam Mantle and Nukubus, who delivers a breathtaking 11 minutes long krautrock tunnel remix of Luc Marianni’s Six Synthetic Suites.

Chris Moss Acid returns with an extraterrestrial four tracker on Holland’s 030303. The A-side features Bay of Cadiz, an eleven minute cut built around an hypnotic bass line and a simple Hitchcockian synth that would do well in a horror movie featuring zombies with smiley faces. On the flip, Lynchette Matravers is an energetic, crystal clear banger reminding of early 808 State. The Big Freeze sounds a lot warmer than the title suggests and should please anyone into AFX’s later output. The Rhythm, the fourth and last track on the EP, continues on that vibe with beautiful synth work.
