Claudio PRC’s fifth album, Self Surrender, unfolds as a reflective journey of self-acceptance, a story embracing reality in its purest and most unfiltered form. Released via Delsin Records, this marks his first full-length album on the label, following the EP’s Rites of Passage (2021), Challenger Deep (2022) and Golden Scales (2024). The album explores different and more leftfield sonic corners, while remaining true to Claudio’s cavernous, deep, and spiritual essence. It’s a journey through different styles, with echoes of the past and contemporary influences merging.

Claudio PRC is something of a techno legend who has already very much assured his own legacy, but he keeps on coming up with the goods each and every time he steps out. This time that is on the Warm Up label with a stylish and deep EP of classy techno. ‘Elliptic’ is a sparse and dubby roller with icy pads, ‘Focal Zone’ then picks up with a more busy percussive line that pans about the mix and comes in and out of focus over rolling beats. ‘Axial’ is another delightfully deft deep techno cut with only there most scant and wispy synths joining the rolling beats. An Oscar Mulero remix rounds out with more intensity.

KR3 first EP is an intricate labyrinth of sounds, curated by Japanese techno pioneer Takaaki Itoh with an additional remix by Claudio PRC. “Mutual Recognition” is a work of insistent raw elements that interweave with hypnotic segments, creating a sense of bewilderment. The A side keeps listeners on the edge with its insistent wobbling and repetitive sounds. Similarly, the B side builds a sense of high intensity; Stinging synths and mental hi-hats interact consistently, resulting in a mesmerizing conversation.

Volumi Dinamici is the second long player of Claudio PRC, a project that combines music and art inspired by the Futurist concepts of movement and dynamism and artistic currents such as Abstract Expressionism; the name itself is a tribute to a work of Italian artist and pioneer Luigi Russolo. Volumi Dinamici is a collection of 11 tracks accompanied by the same number of illustrations, different from each other but characterized by a common technical and compositional approach. The several shades of the atmospheres and the linear rhythm of the grooves come together to form a dense and mental musical dimension, a journey into the sounds and their intrinsic symbolic value. Depth, lights, shadows and noises are tangible elements of this work that mark the beginning of a new sound research based mainly on the instinctive use of machines and analogue instruments.

Lanthan.audio, the newest label from Christian Gerlach, makes it’s debut EP featuring an original mix from UK’s Edit-Select and spotlights remixes from two hypnotic troopers, Claudio PRC and Mike Parker. Lanthan, literally, is a rare earth metal in addition to something hidden or evasive in terms of Greek mythology. For the next release Outis Music has chosen Sardinian artists Claudio PRC and Ness. Both known previously for their solo projects, their collaborations, and also together as “The Gods Planet” they journey deep into remote sides of techno music. The affinity between concepts of their TGP project and Dino Sabatini’s philosophy leads them to make their contribution to the label. “Icore” is an obsessive and straight 4/4 track, where a hypnotic and synthetic arp floats into visceral and noisy atmospheres. Beside the original, Italian artist Nuel give his dry and wild version, as well label boss Dino Sabatini complete the EP with a very deep and transcendental remix.
