This new record was produced by Dutch veteran Roland van Oorschot aka BS-1. Producing and experimenting since the mid 1990s, van Oorschot has been a long time fixture in the electronic music world. Rat Life Records presents Serial Error a Project by Credit 00, Jacob Korn & Sneaker. This outfit was brought to life in 2013 when Red D called for some New Beat style tracks for his “Our Beat Is Still New” Compilation. Flying a bit too low under the radar ever since Rat Life decided to reissue Drum Abuse on a Super Sound Maxi Single. The Track was made in Jacob Korn’s headquarter studio / synthesizer museum. The task distribution was hit quickly: Jacob squeezing the acid out of his huge Formant modular system, Credit 00 beating the drums on the Boss DR 660 and Sneaker throwing his unique vocals on top.
Pinkman welcomes Maenad Veyl to its roster of artists for his debut release in the form of the labels second tape. ‘Make Them Remember’ sets the gloomy mood with clattering percussion and ghostly synth lines. The messy drum patterns of Taiko Death Rhythm’ are breaking up the cold mist. The A-side of the cassette is completed by the melodic slow burning energy of ‘D.M.M.R.M’. On the other side ‘State ov Apprehension’ and ‘Sotto Gli Occhi Tutti’ further darken the character, to then pave way for ‘In Ruins’ to finish the damage with it’s ethereal, yet soul ripping guitar riffs.
Siegmar Fricke describes his music as ‘dynamic dancable collage-pop with a 90s technoid tendency’. The music on this release is made by Yamaha sampling- keyboards, Yamaha multieffects, synthesizers and 60s magnetic tape recorder, recorded on a four-track Tascam tape-machine. From 1987 – 1993 he produced twenty four cassette releases, some on his former label ‘Bestattungsinstitut’ and some on other tape-labels all around the globe. This vinyl is a fine selection of various tapes from 1988 – 1993 slightly edited for club use and remastered by Berlin’s masterchef Kitaro from Schnittstelle. Heavy underground dancematerial for the first time on vinyl. Comes with a strong extended dancefloor remix by Manfredas.

The legendary Moscow club Propaganda celebrates its 20th Anniversary in April 2017 and launches a brand new record label. The label will cover different styles of intelligent electronic music, focusing on techno in the first year. At the beginning there will be released music by great artists who had performances at Propaganda club in past. More artists will be involved and more excellent music will be released over time.
Blocaus series is back and explores this time the deep side of things guided by the fearless AWB lighting the way. AWB’s sound oscillates between deep / atmospheric techno, with film scoring influence which are reflected in this EP. For the latest installment of the Midnight Drive presents a reissue of London duo LA Synthesis. Formed on the Southside of the city in the late 80’s Carl Grant and Tony Gallagher’s long running LA Synthesis project has given us some of the most forward looking, modern and compelling Electro and Techno over the span of the last 3 decades. ‘Harmonic Disassembly / Skyline’ was originally released in 1997 on the cult Evolution label. Both tracks are sleek, cutting edge examples of electronic music. Now, almost 20 years after it’s original release we see a full repress of one of the jewels in the LA Synthesis crown, a truly cult record that stylistically transcends time and space and sounds every bit as groundbreaking and fresh as it did in 1997.
Fernando seixlack with some chrunchy low-fi analogue tracks on House Crime with some unexpected Chicago inspired beauties inbetween. All recorded live in one or two takes most, using a Roland MC 505 , Roland Aira TR8 , some FX pedals , recorded in cassette on a Tascam 424.

While previous releases were influenced by Thompson’s field recordings from e.g. Papua New Guinea, this release is more focused on club oriented sound.
