M_Rec Ltd presents two original tracks by Giorgio Gigli and a remix from Terence Fixmer. Together, their approach creates something special and unique. In its original track Giorgio Gigli delivers the best of its hypnotic and psychedelic techno. A great atmosphere, where the ambient pads meet the dark bass sound. The side closes with an ambient session; a drone of pure electronic, dark synth, making the idea of the state of mind of his own individual unconscious. Terence Fixmer’s version is decidedly more rough, stripped of certain atmospheres, highlighting a more hypnotic and repetitive attitude.

DJ Yoav B. presents the new release on Syncrophone Recordings, featuring 3 of the finest deep house and techno tracks.
New release by Red Rack’em on Bergerac with 3 tracks that stand out by clean and minimal production where the other two are loaded with disco and early funk samples.

Debut album from Massimiliano Pagliara. Massimiliano has got the chug on lock, keeping the tempo around a sensually sub-110 bpm over 13 tracky grooves intended for the connoisseurs and the steamiest points of the night. Fairly simple stuff, but very effective.

New release from Falty Dl on All City Dublin Records. As tight and punchy as you expect, this is two addictive slabs of fast paced house with a distinctly 90s US influence with a shout to Minister Farrakhan on vocal duties.

First release of Downbeat Black label, the sublabel of Downbeat dedicated to slow 4×4 electronics. Juju & Jordash provide Avian Oasis, an exquisite and delicate 4×4 piece with a special guest: an old Hohner Melodica that envelopes the track in mystery. On the other side, Solaris. A complex sci-fi soundtrack full of field recordings in continuous movement made by Downbeat illness.

“I Can See” by The Oliverwho Factory is the second release of german label Couldn’t Care More. The duo from Detroit delivers finest Detroit deep house with a twist. While the basic track is voluminously wafting and rawly pushing forward vocalist Shone tops it with her power- and soulful singing.

Don’t Be Afraid presents the new EP “Synthetes” by Mr. Beatnick. This takes this approach up a gear, exploring a path between the crackling breaks and samples of old, and the dancefloor music of now.

Restoration Records present the fruit of the first labours of the Third Side (Marieu, Steffi, Lucretio) with nd_baumecker. The two gems on this 12″ are recorded live in a single and unique take on a quarter inch tape during a moist afternoon at the beginning of the spring. This is a sound of passion and devotion.

In addition to the “Best Of Ambient” compilation from John Beltran, two remixes are made to honour one of our favourite electronic music producers of all time. The a-side gives us a reinterpretation of “Brilliant Flood” from rising star Kassem Mosse together with his studiomate Mix Mup. This remix smoothly pimps up the track whilst leaving the atmosphere of the original intact. On the b-side, Sven Weisemann made a composition as a tribute to John Beltran, which contains elements of different original cuts. The result is Sven’s Glorify Tribute Mix, a dreamy epic adventurous nine-minute masterpiece in three parts

Great release on this little experimental US label! Deep & warm analogue electronix/house crossovers, featuring a jacking chi-remix by Jamal Moss.

Debut album for both the artist as the Uzuri label! “Amanatto” remains true to what Lerosa’s best known for – deftly-produced house music that conveys maximum emotion whilst exercising classy restraint. Some new ground is covered, too – most notably on the vocal tracks, produced in collaboration with The Oliverwho Factory. Musically, there are hints of melancholy, but it’s by no means a brooding album. Amanatto contains some of the lushest compositions Lerosa has produced to date – his beloved clean tones sounding warm, accentuated by the aforementioned vocals.
