OMBRA Festival 2023
The annual unusual sounds gathering in Barcelona is here again. The 2023 edition of the OMBRA Festival is a special one, celebrating the 5th anniversary. The festival is returning it’s former industrial aesthetics, after one year of transition from the former space Utopia 126, the industrial area in El Poublenou.
This year the festival will happen in a new and captivating venue that perfectly embodies OMBRA’s essence of industrial aesthetics, the former Mercedes-Benz factory, ENMASA.
VA – Aleatory Chaos Fourth Chapter [OR119]
#Coldroom103 is a Barcelona social media private club composed of truly fanatics of the dark sounds in all its subgenres. They’re the responsible for the curation / selection of the new edition of the acclaimed Aleatory Chaos series. You could expect a mix of different styles, from post-punk to industrial and from modern techno new beat to electro. It comes presented in double gatefold format in a one-off truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid black vinyl.
Asymetric80 – Blood Lies [OR110]
Asymetric80 is the EBM/new beat project from producer and DJ Gonzalo Sendon from Spain, Barcelona. “Blood Lies Mini-album” continue exploring the evolution around the late 80’s / early 90’s underground “spaniard sound”, you could expect a mixture of new ebm, new beat and even trance melodies usually combined with hypnotic spoken words.
Ombra 2022
The 2022 edition of the Ombra Festival will start tomorrow in Barcelona, with a location change. The festival program was suppose to take place for the last time at UTOPÍA 126, but the new owners of the location canceled in September Ombra’s reservation. Probably this beautiful industrial relic will make space for something more modern and cost efficient construction.

Ombra Festival 2022 – Barcelona
The 2022 edition of the Ombra festival will take place from November 24 to 27 in Barcelona. Ombra is a project born from the hand of agency Ombra Agency and label Oraculo Records with the aim of creating a meeting place for lovers of analogue and avant-garde sounds that do not fit in the current cultural offer.
