The enigmatic French producer KafkaCtrl is responsible for ‘The Lost Intruder’, the new release from Madrid’s beloved electro label Distrito 91. The EP is composed by five analogue bombs, perfectly structured in a synthetic storytelling that opens with the instrumental ‘Hidden Light’, followed by ‘Cell Echoes’ and its electro discharge of haunting synth lines. These are followed by ‘Tokyo Combat’ and ‘Morphing Blood’, which strike the perfect balance between depth and intensity, while the closure is reserved for the superb 4×4 electro performance that is ‘It Escaped’. Written and produced by KafkaCtrl in the french Alps, 2023.
VA – Our Own Algorithm Vol.2 [D91007]

Distrito 91 presents the second installment of its Various Artists compilation series; “Our Own Algorithm” VOL.2. Side A offers three highly dancefloor electro cuts with heavy basslines, killer drums and dreamy synth pads signed by Fabio Vinuesa, KafkaCtrl and Hoax Believers. Side B follows with the electro-funk vibe of “Telekkomunikation” and “Deep Sea” by DJ Unisex and Friedrich Ernst from Self Learning System Crew.

For Number 6 on his Label Kluentah recrutes this mysterious guy called Kafkactrl. Six brain-throttling cuts of pure, ice-cold machine funk with melancholic pads and gut-punching basslines.

For its sixth release, the Madrid-based label N2MU presents an eight-track Various Artists compilation featuring Ivna Ji, Teslasonic, and Larionov among others. A gathering of renowned artists able to convey a homogeneous music message without losing sight of their creative individual characters. As in the latest N2MU release, Xergio Córdoba (Eternal Midnight Mastering Studio) has been in charge of mastering duties, while the Galician visual artist, Plástica, has created the artwork for the project.
