Ultradyne – Nativist [PGM014]

Fundamentalist electro-techno. On this release we see Detroit’s Ultradyne continue with the approach of their Ultradyne concept: ideas and their evolution. Five diverse songs showcasing their concept into reality. Each song with an identity of its own cultivating what already exists inside of each listener: the need for expression and relation.

Ultradyne – Ocular Animus [PGM012]

As with all Ultradyne works there is meaning in everything. Ocular Animus delves into the mindset of humanity and breaks away from the usual EP format – Three tracks – five songs. This release explores the terraforming of humanitity as seen through the eyes of the machinists as they look into the mirror at it’s underbelly. Solid rhythms, shifting beats, eerie synth lines splatter across the canvass of this new release feeding the beat hungry and philosopher alike. Fear. Uncertainty. Hate. A glimpse of the possible future or the deconstruction of a paradigm. You decide if you like what you see.

The Exaltics – The Truth (Remixes) [SOM035]

Solar One Music presents the follow up to The Exaltics retrospective “The Truth 2008 – 2013” released early this year. Five of The Exaltics best tracks are revisit by  ERP, Gosub, Dopplereffekt, Objekt, and Ultradyne. On the A side, E.R.P. aka Convextion turns the opener “My Language” into an emotive electro rework where sweet drums combine to soft synth layers. Followed by Ultradyne’s disturbing “Compressed Thoughts” remix, expect experimental electro beats and distorted modulations straight from Detroit. On the flipside, a SOM regular signature, Gosub injects on “IMOEH” a serious dose of electrofunk vibes. His classy remix gives a breath of fresh air while “Journey To Jupiter” reworked by Objekt propels you in orbit after an epic trip though space. Merging electro beats to groovy lines and contemporary synths colors, Dopplereffekt keeps the pressure: “Instinct” signs here a masterly conclusion to the EP.
