Umwelt and Parand join their considerable forces together for this last outing of the year on the New Flesh label. It comes on translucent green wax and opens with the collaborative ‘Time Paradox’ which fuses techno and electro rhythms into a thrilling, bumpy ride to the cosmos. ‘Spaceshifters’ is their second cut together and this one has more brutal drums and coarse, coruscated percussion. Parand goes it alone on the flipside for an acid-laced electro-techno monster and then Umwelt brings a little celestial melody to ‘Transmission From Hydra.’

‘Todo Avaricia’ by Reka and the duo Imperial Black Unit is the result of an immediate and natural connection forged between the three artists, through a jam session that swiftly and intuitively yielded three tracks of stylistically diverse yet demonstrably cohesive sounds. Featuring the sampled voices of Che Cuevara, Pablo Neruda and original vocals by Reka herself, the EP plays the role of an urgent call to action against political and environmental injustice, conveyed via the musical substrate of new beat, industrial and EBM, fused into a landscape of techno and undeniably constructed for the dancefloor. The fifth release of the label returns us to the first compilation universe. This time in orbit you can hear (as in the first release) the French producer Umwelt with the apocalyptic doom core track ‘Fallen Empire’. Also a collaboration of the Mosaique label owner Moralez and the legendary American EBM/ Hard Core artist The Horrorist. They were joined by a hypnotic composition from the Mannequin label owner Alessandro Adriani and accidentally surviving track (after the death of the artist’s music storage) from Greek artist Morah, who’s was released on Helena Hauf’s label Return To Disorder.
