With its 10th edition, Dalmata Daniel’s split series brings together two artists who have both left their mark on the label’s compilations, now presenting their first full releases on the imprint. Anatolian Weapons and The Spy approach electronic music from different angles, one rooted in hypnotic techno rituals, the other in raw electro and post-punk energy. Both craft sounds that thrive in the shadows of the dancefloor.

“Pride Or Die is our next fundraiser compilation released in solidarity with Budapest Pride.
In March 2025 the Hungarian Parliament rewrote the country’s assembly law, tightening the rules for all public demonstrations — but with wording clearly aimed at shutting down Pride. The amendment threatens marchers and organisers with fines of up to €500 and lets police deploy facial‑recognition systems. It follows a 2020 ban on legal gender recognition and the 2021 law censoring LGBTQ+ content for minors.
Meanwhile, the government continues to target civil organisations more broadly, signalling an even darker outlook for the future of democratic rights and community spaces in Hungary.
To answer this attack on basic civil and queer rights, Dalmata Daniel teamed up with 34 artists from Hungary and across the globe to contribute exclusive tracks. The result is a diverse, powerful collection that channels solidarity, resistance, and care through sound.

The Spy is on a mission for the 8th Kri release and it ends with a bang. Hhis signature sound keeps evolving by melting electro, EBM and wave into a hypnotising dystopian soundtrack. His Kri debut is named ‘Halt and Hack’ and it ranges from melancholic EBM-ish slow burners to mutated wave-meets-electro anthems, rounded with a nostalgic remix by the mighty Zement operator Kluentah.

The Spy debuts on Mechatronica with a dark, cosmic and hypnotising collection of tracks. On Snakeskin, the Dutch DJ and producer dips into electro, wave, techno, industrial and UK bass to mold an album that distinctly showcases his variety of styles and musical output, from gloomy slo-rollers to futuristic floor anthems and beyond.
Brokntoys presents “The Fifth Quarter”, a digital compilation featuring music from Livid Husk, Timothy J Fairplay, MetaComplex, Lloyd Stellar, The Spy, Errorbeauty, Morken, user404 and Ex.Hale. All proceeds from the release will go to Haringey Welcome, a local campaign group to help migrants and refugees.

The Lahmacun community radio is an integral part of our Budapest scene, as they provide a remarkable online platform not only to musicians and DJs, but to local broadcasters, hosts and music enthusiasts alike. Keeping up the spirit, Lahmacun radio is eager to promote and celebrate music from the local Hungarian scene and from passionate labels, collectives and communities, be it anywhere in the world. This 20-track fundraising compilation is therefore dedicated to Lahmacun radio. It is presented by 10 local and 10 international producers, hailing from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece and Israel. All of us worked and participated in this compilation to help the operation of this very important platform. All income we receive from sales of this V/A goes to support their work.
