Discos Capablanca are back. Loud-E is back. Cherry Chocolate Chaud edit series volume II is a double A sider with two mouth watering, instant classic floor melters from the maestro.
Berceuse Heroique pluck four percivals from Dutch disco DJ supremo, Loud-E’s Loudiefied [2008] album of edits, plonking them on one fine 12” for DJ use and exercise. You get four choice picks, a symphonic strut, a belting Afro-psych bit, some electrified rutting gear and a killer slow-mo stroke to close.
Dekmantel launches Selectors, a new intimate festival and a compilation series. The concept of Selectors focuses heavily on Dekmantel’s support for the art of DJ’ing, celebrating the extra-ordinary DJs that turned collecting and playing music into an art form. The festival will take place at the Garden Resort in Tisno and will host just 1500 people with amongst others Aroy Dee, Carlos Souffront, Helena Hauff, I-F, Traxx, Intergalactic Gary, Juju & Jordash and Motor City Drum Ensemble on the bill. The latter is also responsible for the first Selectors compilation.

An unwavering devotee to the disco sound, Intergalatic FM man Loud-E has taken it upon himself to launch a brand new label. Named Discoine, reffering to his total addiction to music, it will be devoted to the finest disco sounds around. Releases will include only the man’s own original productions and loving re-edits. The Peppermint EP marks the first release, bringing four times spaced out disco jams.
