Since its inception in 2020, Italo Moderni’s energy, spirit and inspiration has been the dancefloor. The darkened bunkers of Belgium, the trembling speakers of Valencia, the warming dawn of Rimini, these influences have been the lifeblood. Solidifying this tireless effort, Mellow Bangers Vol 2 is the label’s most ambitious collection to date.
Schrödinger’s Box welcome Catalonia’s Adrian Marth into the fold. The Iberian artist has been drawing crowds and turning heads with his analogue inspired productions and dancefloor inhibitions. This five tracker sees the Italo Moderni founder explore the glittering angles and brooding shadows of his machines. The punishing percussion and beaming laser lights of “Labyrinth Mind” give way to the tumbling drums and racing synthlines of the addictive “Sex Tonight.” The flip opens with the sleazy grandeur of “Beverly Hills”, looming melodies and retro flourishes combine in this operatic ode to the 1980s. Speaking of the 80s, the inspiration for the penultimate comes from a figure who symbolised the bombastic bravado of the era. “Divine on the Late Show 88” is a tribute to the Pink Flamingos legend, beats sparkle as her sequenced dresses and larger-than-life attitude screams into the present. Danny Wolfers takes the helm to close. Donning his familiar Legowelt moniker, the behemoth of all things electronic delivers a saturated and spiralling rework of “Divine on the Late Show 88” to the close.
In the expansive realm of electronic music, there exists a beacon of sonic sound known as Intergalactic FM, often regarded as the godfather of online underground radios. In a worldwide homage to this influential platform, 41 artists from diverse corners of the globe unite in the “Dalmata Space Anthem for Intergalactic FM” compilation. These various artists bring together a diverse collective of talent, all with connections to IFM and the label Dalmata Daniel, showcasing a vibrant spectrum of electronic club music. Across genres like electro, acid, ebm, synthwave, disco, house, techno and everything in between, we celebrate the pioneering legacy of Intergalactic FM. The third KRI Records release features the infamous Italo Moderni label boss Adrian Marth joining forces with the Italian EBM master Diana Berti (Violet Poison) and it’s a belter. Warm and punchy analog beats are spiced with haunting melodies and sinister pads that will break even the toughest of ravers. Sturdy EBM-ish, dark italo and wave production is cushioned with Adrian’s mysterious vocals adding yet another layer to a diverse EP accompanied by two heavy-weight remixes by Chino & Chupacabras.

Italo Moderni brings Xmas III Edizione it’s the third compilation on Digital. Quality mastering on that super rare italo-electro utterance, perfect for dancefloors or mixes. Another trippy strings and arps, throat singing and ecstatic chanting all around.
We have edits from the likes of Skatebard, Hysteric, Adrian Marth, Flemming Dalum, Franz Scala, Sneaker, Katmandu, Vinilette. All tracks have been carefully edited without overdubs, in order to bring the spirit of classic italo disco and reflect the real underground vibe from the age.
Italo Moderni brings Modernation Vol. 4 it’s the last compilation from 4 and this time on vinyl. We finish this compilation with the best quality in production with artists like Timothy J. Fairplay, Alessandro Adriani, Chino, Chupacabras, Leroy Se Meurt, Univac and Adrian Marth. The A-side sounds like a late-80s industrial EBM cut but with a strictly new future concept inside of each track, while the b-side goes more Electro eighties weird sounds strong with metallic beats perfect for the adventurous working DJ. Everything with that futuristic touch that surrounds us today in the electronic music scene.
The Electro Sound of Tel Aviv lands on Italo Moderni with a new EP from E-bony, one of the great music talents based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Hot electro beats focused on dance floors with energetics percussions giving way to warmer rhythms and 100% perfect for mixing in a really good moment of the night. To close the EP we have a madness remix from PRZ, one of the best electro producers at the moment, and to finalise a really crazy remix by Adrian Marth our boss label.

Italo Moderni presents the final release of the year, a compilation featuring of 17 tracks from their 2021catalogue. Tracks signed by Adrian Marth, Antoni Maiovvi, Daniel Monaco, DJ Wedding, Flemming Dalum, Franz Scala, Jensen Intercepter, Marcello Giordani, Sophie du Palais and more.
After a few hours of sleep by midday we started our second day at Ombra. Ofra was already heating up the cold warehouse of the Operator Stage, offering one of the best dj sets from the festival.

Ombra is a project born from the hand of agency Ombra Agency and label Oraculo Records with the aim of creating a meeting place for lovers of analogue and avant-garde sounds that do not fit in the current cultural offer. The first edition was held in May 2018 in a club format, bringing together musical styles such as EBM, darkwave and industrial/experimental sounds.
In 2019 the festival took place in different areas of the city with industrial aesthetics. The idea is to combine heritage with music by creating a circuit in different spaces that can accommodate different offers. We’ve been at the festival in 2019 and definitely it was one of the best experiences for us.
